Assessment

You can expect to have a consultation with your doctor to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. Your doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition and perform specialized tests on this visit to determine the primary causes of your concern. Based on these tests, further testing/imaging might be required to create a diagnosis.

Diagnosis

From the information gathered through the assessment, your doctor will formulate a clear diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan.

Treatment Planning

Your doctor will recommend a specific care plan, designed just for you. This plan will help you reach your health goals, improve your current condition and begin your wellness journey.

FAQ

Does everyone get a chiropractic adjustment on their first visit?

Not everyone will get an adjustment on their first visit. Your doctor will first assess the cause of your concern and formulate a clear diagnosis. If suitable, your doctor will adjust on the first visit or may send you for extra tests before doing so.

Is every appointment the same length of time?

For your first appointment with us, you can expect your appointment to last 20-40 minutes. If you are needing to fill out paperwork at our office, we ask you to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so you have plenty of time to fill out our intake forms. You are welcome to print off our intake forms at home and bring them filled out with you on your first visit with us.

Your second visit with us may include a report of findings from x-rays, ultrasounds, subluxation scan etc, for which your doctor may have sent you. This visit will be approximately 15 minutes.

All subsequent visits, (appointments after the initial visit and the report of findings visit), will be shorter in length, approximately 5-10 minutes.

Do I need to bring anything to the appointment?

Please bring your health card with you for your first visit with us. If you have any copies of previous x-rays or medical reports, please bring them with you.
